This new journey came about by the endless list of unanswered questions concerning my own faith - the one I knew, the one that I grew to love. Time and again I would question the actions of leaders, the messages, principles and doctrines and time and again I'd be left unsatisfied as to the half-answered approach that the respondent would take.
This new journey, I know, is one to be taken slowly, no rushing, no running, no harsh unthought-of decisions, no quick judgments, just plain-ole dependency on God to guide my studies; guide my readings, enlighten me, shake me up, lift me up, turn me around and plant me down on a ground that is solid - on His firmest of faith, where I dream, I can fulfill my purpose - to serve him in spirit and truth. I'm almost certain that I'd be taken aback by what is to come, and that I may be reluctant and doubtful but the All-Powerful God has led me thus fair and my aim is to put all my trust in Him.
He is the author and finisher of my faith... no one else.
I'm guaranteed that He wrote an excellent script as well!
"Search the scriptures: for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me." - John 5:39.
"To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them." - Isaiah 8:20.
Bible Study: James 1.
