We all can say that we've been influenced in one way or another to go a certain direction by someone who meant the world to us. Can love really blind us or are we really our truest, most genuine-selves when we're wrapped up and tired up in it?
Let the paths you choose in life be for you too. Do not go left or right only because you were told to or because you want to please a loved one. What will happen if that loved one is no longer in your life? Will you still want to walk in their influenced path?
Decisions on spirituality, education, career, companionship, decisions that you'll personally have to reap both benefit and consequence, both risk and reward, must be made solely by your will and understanding; by your "truth choice"; your true and noblest desires, not just because you wish to please someone. It's your life, choose wisely.
"Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed... work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. For it is God which worketh in you to both will and to do His good pleasure. " Philipians 2:12,13
"And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve... but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD." - Joshua 24:15.
- Yours Truthfully,
